How do you roll the shade up? Do you push up the shade? Does it stay up and in place while traveling?

These shades will stay down while traveling, if that is what is desired. In order to operate them, all that needs to be done is to gently pull them down and push them up!

Are the shades blackout?
Hello!
They do block quite a bit of light and are UV resistant but, they unfortunately are not blackout shades. Our roller shades that we also have are : RV Roller Shade Blackout | Black and RV Roller Shade Blackout | White
