When you are looking at replacement fender skirt options, you'll see molded divots, but not actual screw holes. They are made this way you can get he best possible fit.Β
Those shallow indentations are pilot marks molded into the surface to show where holes usually go. They exist so installers can drill confidently in the right spots after confirming fitment against the RV body.

Theyβre meant to make installation easier, but still allow small adjustments if a unitβs mounting points are slightly off.
Even with identical skirt molds, the body mounting points on RVs can drift by a few millimeters due to:
- body flex during manufacturing,
- thermal expansion of fiberglass walls,
- or small variations in screw flange locations.
If the skirt came pre-drilled, those differences could cause screws to miss the backing or distort the panel during installation.
